Ways to prepare:

1 blue lotus per 1 cup, 85degrees, 5-10mins steep and can be reused again.

3 Blue lotus per 750ml tea pot, 85degrees, 5-10mins steep.

Sun tea, 4 lotus flowers, 1L glass vessel, steeped in full sun for 4 hours, refrigerate over night - this gives the tea a more energising effect.

What's the difference from your Blue Lotus Euphoria ™ loose-leaf blend?

Looks: The main difference is that the whole flowers come whole with the entire flower beautifully visible (it looks incredibly beautiful), whereas our Blue Lotus Euphoria™️ blend has tea-cut petals with the addition of blue butterfly pea.

Colour: Whole flowers have a yellow tinge

Taste:  Slightly more bitter with floral notes and an earthy undertone.

Usage: Our beloved customers, friends and family use the blue lotus whole flower to connect in deeper with the lotus and experience this sacred plant in a more ritualistic or ceremonial capacity. It's also perfect as an everyday cuppa or night time wind-down drink.

What are the benefits?

Much like our renowned Blue Lotus Euphoria™️ blend, which combines Blue Lotus with Blue Butterfly Pea, our Blue Lotus Whole Flower also promises a transcendent experience. Known for inducing a sense of euphoria and fostering a profound connection with oneself, these blooms offer a multitude of benefits:

• Facilitating restful sleep
• Enhancing lucid dreaming experiences
• Alleviating anxiety and depression
• Stimulating libido
• Easing muscle tension

FAQs

How long will this product last me?

Each pack contains 50g of Blue Lotus Whole Flowers, with each serving being one full flower. This provides you with 25-30 servings per pack, ideal for daily use or special occasions.

What’s the best way to brew Whole Flowers?

Single Flower Infusion:

  1. Place one whole flower into a large teapot or a French press.
  2. Pour over 500ml of water heated to 85 degrees Celsius.
  3. Allow to steep for 7-10 minutes; this longer steeping time fully extracts the flower’s essence. Steep for longer for a stronger tea.
  4. Strain and enjoy the rich flavours.

Sun Brew Method:

  1. Place one whole flower in a clear glass jar filled with 500ml of cold water.
  2. Seal the jar and place it in direct sunlight for 3-5 hours.
  3. The heat and light from the sun will gently coax the flavours and beneficial properties from the flower.
  4. Strain and serve at room temperature or chilled.

Optional: Enhance the flavour by adding honey, lemon, or mint as desired.

Does Blue Lotus Tea Make You Sleepy?

Yes, the compounds in Blue Lotus, such as nuciferine, are known for their sedative properties, making this tea a popular choice for those looking to improve sleep quality and reduce anxiety.

When is the best time to drink Blue Lotus Whole Flowers?

Evening use is ideal for relaxation and preparing for sleep, while it can also be used before meditation or spiritual practices to deepen the experience. Enjoy it whenever you seek calm and connection.
